The 27th April 2014 is World Pinhole Day and the House of Photography Vienna will be celebrating with a day of pinhole photography events. Adjacent to this the House of Photography is organising an open call pinhole photography exhibition which will take place in June 2014.
We are offering you the chance to show your work as part of the group exhibition “Man, become essential!”
The focus of the exhibition “Man, become essential!” is pinhole photography which focuses on people. Whether portrait, reportage, or nude photography we encourage applications from everyone using any kind of pinhole camera (analogue or digital) to capture the wonder that is people.

How to apply:
Please send us by no later than 09.05.14 a max. of 10 pinhole photographs which focus on the depiction of people.
All applications must:

• be sent to us via a file share (e.g. Dropbox, WeTransfer etc.) no later than the 09.05.14
• all photographs must be submitted in a high resolution format ready to be published
• all photograph titles should be formatted as follows: firstname.lastname.number
  e.g. Max.Mustermann.01, Max.Mustermann.02 …
• your application should include your full name, date of birth, city of residence, technique used as well as image titles, image size and year of production for all photographs
and finally your application should be accompanied by a

short text or quote about your workand/or your approach to either pinhole photography or the diction of people through photography, max. 500 characters
